Slow Cooker Spaghetti Meatballs Recipe – Diet Secret Plan

Looking for a quick, low fat weight loss meal? If so, slow cooker spaghetti meatballs are the best for you. Featuring low fat, low sugar, low sodium and high protein ingredients, this dish can make use of either lean beef mince or chicken and turkey mince and is considered as one of the best dishes for a weight loss diet


  • 200g Spaghetti
  • 3 Slices Short Cut Bacon, sliced
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 2 cans diced Tomato
  • Splash of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tsp. Brown Sugar
  • 2 cloves Garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • 1 tsp. Marjoram
  • Salt & Pepper to taste


1. The first step would be to set your slow cooker to high

2. Cook your bacon until brown in a non-stick pan. Leaving out the meatballs, Place the bacon with all your ingredients in the slow cooker and mix thoroughly then cover with a lid for the mixture to heat up

3. While the mixture is slowing heating up, place the meatball ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix the ingredients with your hands. After thoroughly mixing the ingredients, create 7-12 meatballs based on your preference and gently roll them in your hands till they attain a round shape

4. You can lightly fry the meatballs till they attain a brown shade or alternatively you can directly place them in the slowly simmering sauce. Let them cook for 2 – 3 hours while periodically using a spoon to coat them with the sauce

5. When the meatballs are ready, cook the pasta. Remove the meatballs from the sauce and thoroughly mix the sauce with the pasta

6. Serve the pasta sauce into 3 – 4 bowls and place the meatballs on top of the pasta
