Avocado Soup with Chicken and Lime Recipe – Diet Plan

There’s nothing like a delicious home cooked soup in the colder months of the year. This particular recipe is not like your regular soup but the flavors combine together to make something quite amazing. In addition to that, it’s packed with protein and all the nutrients you need to get you through the day. This soup can be made on a regular basis to help you get to your goal weight. It will warm your stomach so give you the same comfort as junk food but at a fraction of the calories.

Ingredients


To make:
– Preheat your oven to 200~C.- Arrange four 6 inch corn tortillas on a baking tray and bake in the oven until they are just slightly brown.- Cook 1 sliced onion, 8 cloves of garlic and 4 sliced jalapenos in olive oil in a saucepan. – Add 8 ounces of sliced, boneless chicken breast and 1 quart of chicken broth.- Also add 1 diced tomato, 1/4 cup of lime juice, salt and pepper. – Simmer until the chicken is cooked through before finally adding 14 cup of sliced cilantro and 1 peeled, pitted and diced avocado.- Heat up, sprinkle with the tortilla strips and serve!
